TRAVELING TEACHER
The Traveling Teacher takes the successful School Days program into the classroom.
Let our 1900s school teacher delight you with activities and adventures from the rural one-room school. Activities can include recitations, a ciphering match, an old-fashioned spelling bee, and a viewing of school artifacts. You may choose a three-hour session for one class, two ninety-minute sessions, or three one-hour sessions. Additional time is available upon request.
COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
It is important to reach outside the museum’s walls to attract audiences unfamiliar with the Ag Center and its mission. The Ag Center works with businesses and community organizations and actively participates in area festivals, county fairs, community events, farm and trade shows, and tourism-related activities and conventions.
